Jane Conte graduated from York University with a B.A., and obtained an LL.B. from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law. She is a member of the Advocates' Society, The Canadian Bar Association, The Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association, The Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers Association as well as the Whitby Chamber of Commerce.

Jane has successfully appeared before The Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal and Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Jane's practice has always focused exclusively on personal injury litigation on behalf of injured persons and their families. She ensures they obtain the results they deserve.

Jane volunteers her time giving back to her community by sitting on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST). She is also a Director on the Board of Directors of the Lakeridge Health Whitby Foundation.

She is completely fluent in Greek and is currently learning Italian from her husband.

Don attended Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1997. During the first four years of his career Don built a broad litigation practice in Durham Region. He successfully represented clients at trial in personal injury, wrongful dismissal and general commercial litigation cases, though the main focus of Donâs practice during that time was helping injured persons obtain compensation from their own insurance companies and from the people responsible for their injuries.

Beginning in 2000, Don spent ten years acting exclusively for insurance companies. He defended and settled hundreds of personal injury and no-fault benefits claims. Don worked closely with adjusters and claims management and developed an intimate understanding of the way claims departments operate - and what personal injury lawyers need to do to ensure their clients are properly compensated. He knows how to achieve settlement when appropriate and, more importantly, he has the experience and ability to fight to the end when thatâs necessary.

Don has successfully represented his clients at arbitrations and appeals before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. He has appeared at trial and appeal before the Superior Court, Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Don lives in Pickering with his wife, Lizanne, who teaches at Pickering High School. They have three brilliant sons and two moronic dogs and live in a century-old church which they have been trying desperately to convert into a home since 1997.

Don coaches house league hockey and is involved in local development and environmental issues. He has worked with members of Pickering Council, the Cherrywood District Residentsâ Association and the Rouge Valley Greenspace Coalition to ensure protection of the Duffins-Rouge Agricultural Preserve and to fight the construction of a massive York Region sewage vent pipe in Pickering.

Jonathan Lerman is passionate about helping people that have been injured by acts of negligence. He exclusively represents injured and disabled persons who need strong and well-reasoned legal representation.

Jonathan has represented clients at all levels of the Ontario justice system, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunals and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. He has made submissions to several appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Jonathanâs experience includes participation in hundreds of examinations for discovery, mediations, pre-trial conferences and contested motions. He has participated in trials, hearings and court proceedings across Ontario, from Ottawa to Windsor. He is committed to obtaining the best results for each client.

Jonathan graduated from the University of Toronto before obtaining his law degree at the University of Windsor.

Jonathan completed his articles and started practice with the personal injury department of a full service law firm before joining a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto. Jonathan joined Conte & Associates in October 2011.

Jonathan is active within many local organizations and is committed to building a strong community. As a devoted husband and father, Jonathan understands how the impact of an accident can devastate a family.
